Project Theory is an autobiographical history of the struggles of one man, Paul Hunt, as he grew up in one of the toughest, Housing projects , Aliso Village in Boyle Heights. As a young child trying to navigate eight city blocks claimed by over twenty different street gangs, this young Black child found a way to survive in a hood full of Latino gangs who normally should have wanted him dead, given the racial tensions of East L.A in the 1980 s and 90's . Project Theory details the stories of Paul s real life hopes, dreams, desires for greatness and beliefs that life could be so much more that an eight by ten foot prison cell, a plot in the ground, or the fate awaiting in the streets of Boyle Heights. His true accounts of life growing up are stories that will teach educators, students, those seeking to better the world and those looking for a reason not to destroy it.
